Optum Pay basic and premium modified to better fit your needs
In response to feedback from health care professionals, Optum Pay has modified the benefits available in both the basic and premium portal access levels: For basic access, beginning May 22, 2021, it will include unlimited users for each account. For premium access, fees will be capped at $2,000 per billing cycle, per TIN.
Are You a New User? Register for the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal
In order to access secure content on UHCprovider.com or to access the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal to follow up on claims, verify eligibility or to check for prior authorization requirements, you’ll need to create a One Healthcare ID (formerly known as Optum ID) then connect it to your organization.
Get started by creating a One Healthcare ID with the tax ID number (TIN) of your practice or facility. If you’re the first person to register from your organization, you will receive a security code by mail and will need to come back to this page (UHCprovider.com/newuser) to enter it.
Business Associates such as Revenue Cycle Management companies must register with their own TIN and later connect to care provider TINs using the Multi-TIN Access in Link Security.
If you have a One Healthcare ID connected to a TIN but are still unable to access specific capabilities on the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal, please ask your Password Owner or ID Administrator to make changes to your account access in Link Security Tool.
Your Password Owner or ID Administrator that you select during registration will need to complete your request in Link Security. An email will be sent to you when the request is complete.
If you need technical help to access UnitedHealthcare Web Support, please email ProviderTechSupport@uhc.com or call our Help Desk at 866-842-3278, option 1. Representatives are available Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Central Time.
